Early Anglican or Church of England cemetery from 1837 to 1931. The cemetery was located on the north-east corner of Kembla and Bank Streets, Wollongong. In 1889, land at Swan and Kenny Streets was dedicated for Anglican burials and the Bank St cemetery was rarely used. In 1940, the cemetery was converted into a park. Descendants of those buried were offered the option of moving remains and gravestones. Those not moved were buried and grass grown over them.
