Society Official Documents
The Illawarra Historical Society was founded on 5 December 1944. It became an incorporated under the Associations Incorporations Act, 1984 on 5 August 1990. The Articles of Association were revised to comply with the Associations Incorporation Act, 2009 (as amended) and adopted at the Annual General Meeting of the Society held on 2 March 2017. Subsequent amendments to the Consitution were adopted at Annual General Meetings in 2023 and 2024..
