FISHLOCK family
Robert and Elizabeth Fishlock were among the earliest settlers on the Cordeaux River west of Mt Keira and Wollongong. Like their neighbours, they established an apple orchard on the river flats of the isolated area. Their descendants were the last remaining orchardists after the valley was resumed for the Cordeaux Dam. Members of the family intermarried with local families from Cordeaux River, Mt Keira and Mt Kembla including Bennis, Brasher, Burgess, Elliott.James, Ludbrook, Rixon, Sutherland, Walker and Willett.
